Class-Leadership
Class,
I feel to lead one must serve. In ministry this is an important concept. The gentle and humble lifestyle of the Savior is nowhere more evident than in the account of John 13, in which He washed His disciples’ feet. In that event, He left us some valuable lessons regarding servanthood we dare not ignore. We can’t ignore is that being a servant is voluntary. Jesus was not selfish when He gave up His place of glory in Heaven and became like a servant (Phil. 2:6-8). He did not come into the world to be served, but to serve other people (Mark 10:45). He proved this fact by giving His life to save many people. Being a servant is about giving rather than receiving. Christians are to be servants of both God and people. The Lord gave us talents, but He did not give us all the same ability to do something. Paul tells us, “Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of working, but it is the same God who inspires them all in everyone” (1 Cor. 12:4-6). Being a servant is being like Christ. Jesus says to His disciples, “For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you” (John 13:15). Jesus practiced what He taught. In this passage, He is teaching His disciples about humble service. So, we need to see others as Christ sees them. To be like Christ, we need to serve. Your thoughts….

The Christian mission vision that I can implemented in my career is to have the responsibilities of self-discipline and having a creative plan to navigate my academic goals for a successful educational career. Self-discipline helps me to control my decisions and actions to achieve my personal goals, and don’t let distractions interfere with my academic achievements. It is about holding yourself accountable for the decisions you have made to succeed by changing old habits and make formulations for a brighter future.
In my career spiritual and personal life is to be at peace with myself and knowing that God is in charge of my life. With our successful and spiritual we can support each other by ways of support groups, sharing information and being our brother and sister in Christ. We are there to empower each other in the Christian faith to become more academic educators in our thinking process for a diverse community in our academic journey. It is a privilege to know that God the Almighty plays a pivotal role in our everyday lives and therefore, we must honor him as we embarked for success through our academic goals both physically and mentally.
