NUR 513 Introduction to Advanced Registered Nursing Syllabus

This course discusses nursing theory and ethics for advanced nurses. It focuses on Christian values and leadership to improve healthcare outcomes. It covers legal requirements, ethical duties, and the importance of health promotion and disease prevention for these nurses. In this course, students learn about evidence-based practice (EBP), ways to review related research, and how to use academic resources and guidelines relevant to their studies.

Topic 1: Emerging Roles for Advanced Registered Nursing Specialties

Navigating the Online Environment Scavenger Hunt

This is the first assessment of this topic. Students are required to learn how to navigate the digital class environment. It requires students to attend weekly to ensure proper participation in the online classroom.

Topic 1 DQ1
