There is no sign of carotid bruits on carotid artery auscultation, and the carotid pulse has a normal character and volume. The abdominal exam reveals nothing unusual. The lower limbs are symmetrically warm, free of signs of peripheral vascular disease, and have normal capillary refill times. There are no obvious neurological impairments, and the pulses are normal in both lower limbs (Bickley et al., 2017).
