• What is the relationship between the topic objectives, the assignment, and the rubric? How is each component important to completing an assignment? 

• What are some strategies you have learned from the readings and assignments in this course so far that will help you complete your assignments both accurately and efficiently? 

The topic objectives, assignment and the rubric plays hand in hand with one another. First you will start with your topic objective. The topic objectives allow you to get an insight on what you will learn. Once you read the topic objectives you will need to follow alone with your rubric. The rubric is your scoring guide that helps you understand the expectations of the assignment. Finally, you are ready to complete your assignment, once you have completed your assignment you have learned more insight on the topic. Without looking over the topic objectives and rubric you will not be able to successfully complete the assignment. 

The most Important strategies I learned is carefully read over the requirements on submitting assignments. This week I had issues submitting the most important assignment, and not reading carefully caused me to lose points as well submit assignment late. I am more than thankful for getting the opportunity to resubmit my assignment. Most definitely learned from my mistakes and understand the importance of paying attention and double checking before submitting work to be sure criteria is meet.

The relationship between topic objectives, the assignment and rubric is that you need a good understanding of the three to be completely successful in the courses that you are taking.  If you understand the objectives but can’t complete the assignments fully or at a high standard, then it could have adverse effects on your future courses since they will be building on each other.  To be highly successful in your assignments, you must be able to understand the rubric to ensure that you meet all the requirements for the assignments and the rubric can be a mini assignment as well.  I say that the rubric can be a mini assignment is because there may be requirements that you are not familiar with, and you would need to do additional studying to ensure all requirements in the rubric are completed to standard.  They are related in the way that the rubric is the foundation which the assignment is built on that blossom into meeting the objectives of the course. 

The main thing that I’ve learned to assist me in completing my assignments is to use an outline and ensure that you dedicate time daily to accomplish required tasks.  Procrastination will destroy all efforts to be successful, so never wait to the last minute to complete any portion of the assignments.
