What strategies do you currently use, or have used in the past, to try to practice good time management? Are there any strategies mentioned in the articles listed above that you use or have used? Are there any strategies from the articles that you will try to use going forward to improve your time management? What time management strategies do you think work best to ensure you have adequate time for studying and schoolwork?
When it comes to time management and school, it now gives me the opportunity to prioritize a lot more. When we deal with work, and home it just becomes a repetitive routine, so I never really looked at is as anything other than just getting things done as the day/time flows. Since I have started school and working a lot more on my health and fitness, time management is crucial. I recently got a daily planner and a white board calendar to jot down important deadlines to help set my top priorities for the week. It also allows my partner to see my schedule for the week so that any adjustments can be made if needed. Things that I will work on consistently that’s mentioned is the non-negotiable such as sleep, class time, study time, and meals.
In order to keep consistent whenever I may fall back is reminding myself of my “why.” Why am I doing this and who am I doing it for. Some days will be easier than others, but I have to stay on track and remain focused. There is a greater reward waiting once school is finished and that feeling of accomplishment, hard work, determination, and sacrifice no one can take away.

Sample Answer 2
I have always struggled with time management. But as the years pass by, I started to practice different strategies to help improve my time management. One practice that has been extremely helpful for me is, I started to focus on one matter at at time and I learned I do not need to multitask when it comes to certain instances. After reading the “Student Preparation for Distance Learning” article, I now understand the significance of technical factors while attending online classes. It does seem reasonable that we should familiarize ourselves with the basics of technology skills before taking online courses. One of strategies that I would like to incorporate in my schedule is the ABC Method of time management. This method consists of a prioritizing task by A, B, C, in order of importance and priority.
A few strategies that I find helpful is setting an alarm to accomplish things that need to be done, using Post-it notes as reminders and keeping a daily to do list in my planner. As time goes on, I think using these tactics will make me a better learner. Distant learning may be a rewarding experience with the correct motivation, self-control and time management.
