  • NRNP 6635: Psychopathology and Diagnostic Reasoning – In this class, one will address foundational factors in not only the diagnosis but also the assessment of pediatric, children, and adult clients.
  • PRAC 6635: Psychopathology and Diagnostic Reasoning Practicum – This is a practicum class that introduces Walden University MSN students to the real-life world of mental health patients.   • PRAC 6665: PMHNP Care Across the Lifespan I Practicum– This is the third program in this course. The program will allow a student and future PMNHP to apply the knowledge they have gained to real-life situations in a supportive and immersive manner. At this point, the instructor and preceptor will continue to evaluate the clinical skills that a student will have gained during the program.
  • NRNP 6675: PMHNP Care Across the Lifespan II– This is the last program here. The purpose is to provide the student with confidence in their skills and knowledge as they inch closer to the real-life world experience. At the end of it, a student should be able to handle real-life situations independently in most cases but with minimal supervision by their preceptor. The class also marks the end of a student’s MSN journey in PMNHP specialization at Walden University.
